Getting Started

Signing in

  1. Go to your DocIQ URL and choose Sign in.
  2. Enter your email and password. New team members receive an invite email and set their own password on first login.
  3. You land on the Dashboard — your organisation's projects, assessments, and tenders.

If you don't have an account, an Owner or Admin in your organisation invites you (see Administration).

Roles

Every action is checked against your role, at the server — not just hidden in the UI.

RoleCan do
ViewerSee projects, comparisons, assessments, and reports.
EditorEverything a Viewer can, plus create projects, upload, run analysis, edit data, remove vendors.
AdminEverything an Editor can, plus manage users, approve decisions, configure the approval matrix.
OwnerEverything an Admin can, plus tenant settings and the AI processing policy.

Your organisation (tenant)

All your data — documents, comparisons, assessments — belongs to your organisation and is isolated from every other organisation. You only ever see your own.

The three modules

DocIQ has three workflows. Each starts by uploading documents and ends in a reviewed, exportable decision.

  • Vendor Comparison — compare supplier quotes against your requirement.
  • ESG Assessment — score suppliers on ESG against a framework.
  • Tender / RFP Analysis — read a tender and decide whether to bid.

Uploading documents — the basics

Everywhere you upload, the same rules apply:

  • Formats: PDF, Excel, Word, and scanned images. A ZIP is unpacked automatically.
  • Anti-virus: every upload is scanned before it is processed.
  • Processing is asynchronous. After upload, documents move through Pending → Processing → Completed (or Review / Failed). You can leave the page; work continues in the background.
  • Review, don't trust blindly. Low-confidence extractions are flagged for a human to confirm. That is by design.

If a document says "Failed" or "Review"

  • Review — the system extracted the data but wants a human to confirm some values. Open it and approve or correct.
  • Failed — usually a corrupt file, an unreadable scan, or a timeout on a very large document. Re-upload a cleaner copy, or split a very large file.
